Roadways: a Faster, Better Fix for Failing Culverts.

The Snap-Tite® slip-lining system addresses deteriorating culverts without the traffic disruption and cost of excavation.

A modern solution to aging culverts.

Culverts installed decades ago under hundreds of interstates, expressways, highways and rural roads are failing at an alarming rate. Corrugated metal culverts are rusting, and concrete culverts have cracked or pulled apart at the joints, creating problems such as sinkholes and flooding across the road system.

The Snap-Tite® HDPE lining system is a cost-effective, no-dig solution for failing culverts. The pipe is pushed and/or pulled into the full length of the existing culvert, eliminating the need to excavate and minimizing traffic disruption — and installation is so simple your own crews can complete the work.

Roadway culvert
  • Utilizes durable, flexible high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe with male/female machined joints “snapped” together for secure, watertight connections
  • Meets ASTM D3212 requirements, as well as AASHTO M 326 standard specification for pipe lining
  • In most cases, the rehabilitated culvert will have the same or greater flow than the old culvert
  • More economical with longer life than other culvert rehabilitation options
  • Available in 8"–63" round sizes, including oval culvert applications to fit existing arch, elliptical and rectangular box configurations
